I've been waiting to say until I knew for sure. "For Sure" certainly has a way of being evasive. But "starting work tomorrow" seems fairly certain. Don't you think? It has been interesting to see how many different directions our lives could have gone. We tried to get out of Dodge, and we came close to escape...but not yet. As time and money started to run thin, Richard wound up taking a 6 month contract down by the airport working for Southwest. So....he has work, and they may employ him in the future. Or it is a chance to pick up some skills and move on. We don't know. We'll see.
So much more to say....will be back.
Cheryl, I am glad to hear that you guys continue to rest and wait on God. I'm confident that your deliverance will come. It may not be entirely what you planned for. But it will come.
Shalom to you, dear Sister.

Rich,
"Plan"? After this past 6 months, this word makes us laugh. I'm obviously not thrilled to bits to still be here, but I also feel that we are *supposed* to still be here at this time. Hmmm.

It's true! It's me! How the heck are you?
I went through some years of Texas hatred (I'm from Georgia) and I am actually proud of it now! Getting out of the Dallas area has helped. Will Rogers said "Fort Worth is where the West begins, and Dallas is where the East peters out." It looks like one thing you are supposed to do before you leave is meet me...:)
HMM......
BTW, I really love your paintings. I have still thought about contacting you to help with a tattoo.

Ami,
Believe it or not, I don't hate Texas. I could come up with a list of things that will endear me to it til the day I die. However, the country-club suburbatopia environment I dwell in makes me want to pull my hair out. Or just park my car on the grass, or something equally heinous to upset the HOA. Ha!
Anyhow, we shall meet, for it is our destiny. And we can talk tattoos too.
:) Cheryl
